Bauxite is one of the ingredients in cement. It is obtained in the same manner as cuttable stones and medium stones, out of large holes dug in dirt patches. Bauxite can only be dug near the eastern edge of the map, in such regions as Tanis and Cradle of the Sun. In these areas, a hole will produce cuttable and medium stones at first; then as the dig progresses, the cuttable stones will gradually yield to bauxite.
