Hatchet

A Hatchet is a tool produced on a anvil by blacksmithing.

It enables you to collect more wood per attempt, but adds to the time it takes the tree to recover, usually in direct proportion to the increase in harvest. The net effect is to allow you to collect wood faster.

You can take advantage of this by collecting X amount more wood in one harvest (then going and doing something else for a while). Or you can harvest from more trees during one "recovery cycle". If you normally would wait around until the trees recovered, the extra wood harvested would be directly offset by the increased time it took for the tree to recover - no benefit.

The extra wood you get from perception is no affected by hatchet
