Other languages:

Acroline

a few simple guidelines on the acroline:
(if the next teacher isn't free you are welcome to try more while waiting)
let's call this an acrobox, use resources as markers (keep enough distance to not interfere with others)
(wait till the student is ready so that the acrobox is empty)

comments

I watched the confusion that was acro in LE and thought it could be coordinated a little more. Here's some of the comments I have seen suggested. Some of which repeat the wise words of the original post.

1. Have sculptures as line start points - either purpose built or clear present ones. Buildings would do though unique sculptures are easier to find.

2. Have out of the centre of town - less lag. And lag in acro is a real pain.

3. Have lines far enough away from each other so that the two lines do not confuse each other. Going in opposite directions maybe.

4. Have 1 person for each line drop a "path" of sand or something easy to see along the route.

5. Have each "post" marked with 3-4 dropped objects, straw, mud, sand etc.

6. Have "line" channels for coordination of posts - Suggest having one person as line leader with their "chat" as line channel. When they have had enough stick new persons name in channel for a few minutes till everyone knows.

7. When a person leaves their post the person behind moves forward.

8. If a line drops below 10 posts abandon it. This could be signified with a double ring of "drops" at that post or something that makes it obvious to the line acrobats.

9. Both lines should not cross roads - it gets confusing. The roads should remain clear for those not acroing and to provide a route back to CS for the end of line without any danger of interfering with the acroline.

10. Preferably on flat terrain with high visibility.

11. Seven Lakes has been suggested. It has a straight road from CS - two lines could run parallel to the road on each side - the road used for a fast return to the line start.

Just a few ideas - mostly not mine. I personally think lines should be of limiited length to reduce bottlenecks. But I think most people hate the idea :)
