Leather is a byproduct of slaughtering camels and sheep. A camel yields 6 leather when slaughtered; a sheep yields 2 leather.

So very many uses:

• 20 for an amalgamation furnace
• 25 for a barrel grinder
• 12 for a craft furnace
• 60 for a fleet furnace
• 24 for a fragile furnace
• 20 for a mason's bench
• 4 for a ore cart
• 1 for a pottery wheel
• 40 for a precious furnace
• 15 for a rock saw
• 1000 for an Empty Hand Tower
• 100 for a Flax Gin

• a variable amount for a Standard Obelisk

• 300 for part of tuition for structure repair at a School of Conflict.
• research donation for advanced charcoal production, fragile metallurgy, mine construction, and stonemasonry
