Techs, unlike
Skills are free to everyone once they are researched. There are two ways you can learn a tech. You can visit a University and instantly learn all techs which you are high enough level to learn, and have been unlocked at that university. Alternatively you can find someone to teach you, teaching takes a varriable number of sessions all from the same person, with alteast 10 min between each session (note that you can be taught many Techs at lower levels than normally required).
The earlier techs have been unlocked in most or all regions, however some of the techs have only been unlocked in a few regions. Click on the link of a tech to see where it's been researched.
One level of Pyramid Construction can be picked up from each type of university. You must be level 1, 4, 7, 10, 13, 17, 21 to pick up your first through seventh rank of Pyramid Construction.
