2008/03/01 17:00 UTC | Egyptian Iron Man Contest III Being held on Saturday March 1st, at 5pm UTC (12pm EST, 9am Pacific), -1275 3050, 3 minutes North East of the DoS chariot stop. Four crafting events include: charcoal making, spirit making, wineglass making and carp blade making. Two races are a foot race over Otter's Evil Mountain (tm), and an ore cart pushing contest through an obstacle course. Chat Rym, Spicy or Kaayru to register to participate, or if you have any questions. Event will be lengthy, so plan for 4 hours or so. Sign up early, so we can make plans. |

The Community
- Veritas Unum Ur-man's Pub, a memorial to our departed friend, is now open at 1356, 1814 in Seven Lakes, directly across from the CS. There is a beautiful garden setting, lots of citrus trees/honey for anyone to use, and the Pub itself, which is a nice bright yellow color. The Pub features 6 wine tables, 1 banquet table, 2 kitchens, and has beautiful marble flooring. Great for any event you might like to put on, its open for anyone to use and enjoy.
- The Principles Guild in 7L/UE is a civic Guild for recycling Test materials and can provide you with 80 - 90% of the materials to pass the *principles only* of vigil, obelisk, mosaic, bijou, opticon or temple, greatly reducing your costs.
- The Wretched Hive of Scum and Villainy (The Hive): An Egypt-wide chat channel with NO MEMBERSHIP FEE. *Rough or coarse* conversation is encouraged. The *only* restrictions for membership is that you are a paid account. Do /info The Hive for more information. With over 200 members already and room for 300, you get to chat with people through out the land. Come see us in Seven Lakes, right across from The Goods.
- VoK Research: A guild dedicated to opening up the beautiful land of our forefathers, known as Valley of the Kings. There is NO MEMBERSHIP FEE although donations are welcome. Apply for membership at the Guildhall in DoS, -1675, 4354.
