A mysterious skill gained from a Mysterious Altar. Little is known about Enhanced Woodcutting.
It appears that trees from which wood has been gathered using Enhanced Woodcutting become tree stumps, which look like dead white sticks poking up out of the ground, a little taller than an avatar.
A player that has the Enhanced Woodcutting skill does not have a separate option for clearcutting, just the usual "harvest" option. Each harvest has about a 1 in 3 chance of being a "clearcut". When the harvest is normal, the player receives more wood with the skill than would be expected harvesting without it. In the case that the tree is clearcut, the player receives 250 times the minimum harvest of the tree. For example, a Towering Palm that gives at least 5 wood will give 1250 when clearcut.
Whether the tree stumps will regrow at all or how long it takes for them to recover is still unknown.
Elixir Of Regrowth seems to start the regrowing process in stumps. The stump's window changes as seen in the above image. Not sure how long it takes to produce a new tree though. -Mnhtp
Update: Looks like it takes about a t-Week(?) to restore a stump.
The dissemination of the skill seems to be the same as for other enhanced skills: first and second tier learners of the skill can teach a limited number of people before they become unable to teach any more (but still retain the skill). Third tier learners of the skill can teach it, but lose the skill when they do so.
