Saturday, SHANNARA held its second Party Bash for guildies and friends at the Party Palace behind the SGH Workshop. Everyone had a great time, and there was lots of activities for all.
We opened 28 bottles of wine and swilled them all! There was substanstial hiccuping and staggering by the time the last bottle was emptied. Lots of points were added to Wine Notebooks as there was a lot of variety in the wines.
Next 4 decorative torches where planted at the entrance of the Party Palace as a reminder to all, of our good friends in the Guild and in Egypt. 1 Emerald (Kalateth), 1 Ruby (iziz), and 2 Sapphire (ShuoftheFieryHeat) torches were built and lit. [These torches can be lit by anyone going by and last 10 hours (takes 10 oil) so feel free to light them if you are nearby.]
There was some problems with getting food catered, but Shu managed to make an OK Hookah Smoking food (recipe from the wiki). Cooking is a huge challenge to Shu, but he managed to figure out some of the formulas and WOW - it worked!. So Hookah smoking was even better! Lill (Egyptian Life) handled the hookah herb loading and she made some fantastic herb combos to smoke! A BIG THANK YOU to Lill for helping out with the Hookah!
While smoking Shu sent up loads of fireworks! There was oohing and aweing of the fireworks display! Kalateth got some fantastic photos of the fireworks show! Thank you Kalateth! The fireworks show was orchestrated by Shu, and started with a slow progression through each firework with commentaries like "...OHHHH..." and "...I like THAT... ". Everyone got a good view of each one, then the speed picked up and Shu started to send them up faster and faster, 2 at a time, 3 at a time, until the FINALLY when Shu sent ALL the fireworks up at one time! The sky above SGH was filled with bursting and blossoming and weavings of all the fireworks!
At the conclusion of the fireworks show, Shu handed our guests gifts of appreciation. Chocolate Stat Bars of different varieties where passed to our guests. A THANK YOU goes to iziz for supplying the chocolates.
At the conclusion of the party iziz lit the the Bonfire of Enduring Friendships (371+K)! The bonfire is 4 times the height of the Party Palace, and the blaze roared into the night sky!
