I live in Upper Egypt, on the western banks of the Nile, just north of the School of Thought.
I'm married to the fastidious, industrious, multi-talented and very handsome -- and gone for way too long; where are you my hubby, my love? i, we, miss you -- Varius (You can see photos from our wedding here. Thank you, Varius, for pulling together this album, as well as snapping and adding the above pic of me; and thanks to everyone who came out and celebrated with us! I spend much of my time in Egypt working on winemaking (a very out-of-date page) and gardening. I love meeting new people and starting spontaneous acro parties. In general, though, I want to contribute to Egypt in any way I can. Most recently, and beyond my daily chores, I'm quite intrigued by the return of the Bards, the appearance of Ktisibios in an Hotairship and what, if anything this may have to do with the mysteries of the beautiful Valley of the Kings.
Personally, I'm not so much interested in opening VoK up to industry (I'd love to give it the equivalent of a national park or nature preserve status), as I am in figuring out a mystery that seems seeping with legend and history and mystery.
