The Discipline of The Human Body
The discipline of the Human Body is that of the traveller. Tests of Body generally demand that the player wander far and wide, exploring remote areas of Egypt. As a rule the Body tests tend to be quite time-intensive, but require very little in terms of materials. Players who enjoy exploration will be well suited for this discipline.
As its name suggests, the Body discipline is closely involved with physical improvement. Progress in a Body test is usually associated with increases in one of the seven attributes, with each Body test being tied to one attribute.
Current Tests of the Human Body
- The Test of the Acrobat: Through one-on-one sessions with other players, teach and learn 28 different acrobatic moves. As you master additional moves, you gain permanent bonuses to Dexterity.
- The Test of the Singing Cicada: Earn points by finding cicada cages hidden by other players in the remote corners of Egypt. Once you have found enough cicadas, you can hide cages of your own to accumulate even more points. Progress in this test is rewarded with permanent bonuses to Speed.
- The Test of Darkest Night: As you travel, keep your eyes open for the 28 varieties of mushroom that sprout all over Egypt. Pick and eat 7 mushrooms of each type to pass. As you work your way through this test, you gain permanent bonuses to Constitution.
- The Test of the Safari: Track and catch 7 different species of wild animal, each of which requires its own set of hunting tactics. Progress in this test is rewarded with permanent bonuses to Strength.
- Test of Reason: Increase your Focus attribute to 7 by playing and solving your fellow citizens' Thought puzzles across the land.
- Test of the Banquet: First, improve your Perception to 7 by eating and drinking. Then plan a seven-course meal for 21 people offering a proper mix of food, wine, and beer.
- The Test of Takeskot: Takeskot is a team sport played on outdoor courts found across Egypt. Winning games of Takeskot will improve your Endurance attribute and bring you closer to passing the test.
